The equipment, installation and finishing are considered together, with a written scope before work begins.
We review the parts of the home you wish to protect, including doors, accessible windows and internal areas. The location of detectors is considered alongside everyday movement, pets and how different rooms are used. The agreed scope identifies the devices and areas included.
Discuss a wired installation, a compatible wireless arrangement or an upgrade to equipment already in place. The condition of existing cables, suitable device positions and the selected system determine the approach. We do not assume that equipment from different systems can be combined.
An installation should be straightforward for the people who use it. Discuss the location of controls, separate user access and any app-based notifications. Features, internet requirements and recurring charges depend on the chosen equipment and are confirmed before booking.
For a troublesome alarm, provide the make, model and a description of the fault without sharing codes. We can discuss detector issues, damaged components and replacement options. Work starts from an agreed investigation or installation scope rather than an open-ended promise.
The agreed devices and controls are checked, and the relevant everyday functions are demonstrated. We explain the scope of any support, maintenance or monitoring arrangement. Insurer requirements, third-party monitoring and police response must be confirmed separately; none is implied by a standard installation.
The quotation identifies the control equipment, detectors, installation work and handover included. Any maintenance agreement, monitoring service, app subscription or third-party requirement is discussed separately and agreed in writing.

Yes. Planning the installation alongside electrical and building work gives an opportunity to agree cable routes and device positions before the final finishes. The scope and timing are coordinated with the rest of the project.
