INSTALLATION, UPGRADES & SUPPORT
The equipment, installation and finishing are considered together, with a written scope before work begins.
We review the entrance, fixing position, available power and network connection before selecting the installation approach. Discuss the desired view, indoor alerts and app access. Any recording service or subscription is confirmed as part of the equipment discussion.
Discuss an entrance panel, indoor communication points and the way residents need to answer visitors. Existing wiring, building layout and the chosen equipment are reviewed together. Where several occupants or a shared entrance are involved, permissions and the responsible contact must be established.
We consider the door, compatible entry equipment, power and access arrangements as one scope. The proposal identifies what is included and any specialist work or building-management approval that is needed. No change to a shared or protected entrance is assumed without agreement.
Cable routes are planned with the surrounding interior and entrance in mind. Existing cables may be reused where suitable. Additional data points, power work, concealed routes and finishing are identified before the quotation is accepted.
Agree who will administer the equipment and how users will be added, changed or removed. The everyday controls are demonstrated, with any ongoing service requirements explained. Access codes and account passwords must remain private and should not be sent through an enquiry form.
